Rhonda York – As a career coach and transition consultant, Rhonda has provided directional counseling to a diverse client base including college graduates, business managers, PhD’s and MD’s. Her career background encompasses over 15 years in marketing management and in training and adult development in the marketing and academic fields. As an instructor at local business colleges, teaching business administration and career development courses, she has counseled and coached individuals in developing and obtaining personal and career goals.
Rhonda coaches her clients through relocation and career transition, providing assistance in résumé and cover letter development, interview coaching and balancing life, work and family through self-care. She has facilitated job search support groups on the steps to be taken in finding a job and dealing with the transition. She facilitates a variety of workshops and speaks to groups on diverse topics.
She has served on the Board of Directors for the Career and Personal Counseling Center of Charlotte and is also past board member of the International Coaching Federation-Charlotte Area Chapter. Rhonda completed her coach training with Coach U, which is an internationally acclaimed training program for professionals in the coaching field. Rhonda is a Certified Professional Résumé Writer and holds a Business Administration Degree from Western Carolina University. She is a Charlotte native.

Marla Emery – Marla is committed to helping others through life’s transitions with minimal stress by creating a positive and supportive network for change.
With over 20 years in corporate business, as a consultant, manager, trainer, and entrepreneur, Marla has experienced the excitement and the challenges of being a business leader, an executive team member, a project leader, and a contributor.
After earning an undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware, Marla was drawn into the information technology professions and she spent her formative career as a technical writer, documentation manager, and project manager.
During her own career transition, Marla completed her business coach training at the University of North Carolina – Charlotte, an acclaimed coach training program.
As a certified business coach, Marla helps professionals who choose to embark on a change, achieve success, and improve areas of their personal and professional lives. For corporate clients, Marla coaches teams who want to achieve better results through project management, team building, and meeting facilitation.
